Safeguarding

Safeguarding is doctrine in Vastianism. Protecting children and vulnerable people overrides reputation, tradition, and hierarchy.

Core line:

We do not forgive in ways that endanger others.

Non-negotiables

  • Secrecy used to conceal harm is a moral failure.
  • Confession does not replace accountability.
  • Any confirmed abuse results in immediate removal from role and external reporting where appropriate.
  • Any Vastian may question leadership without penalty.

Our role

We are not equipped to receive or investigate safeguarding reports. Our responsibility is to set a clear standard, educate, and remove anyone who causes harm from Vastian roles or spaces.

When there is risk

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If you need to report abuse, contact the relevant statutory authority or safeguarding body in your area. If you want to learn more about our safeguarding doctrine and how we build safer spaces, use the general contact form.
